Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair refrigeration and HVAC units.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units and commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Repair and replace compressors.
- Perform preventive maintenance to refrigeration and HVAC.
- Detect and repair refrigerant leaks.
- Repair meat and/or produce equipment.
- Troubleshoot refrigeration rack systems.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in HVAC and refrigeration repair, general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry required.
- Valid driver’s license.

Job Summary
The Refrigeration Technician primary function is to ensure that all refrigeration and HVAC units within the stores are running and will continue to run efficiently. Responsibilities include minor plumbing repairs, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC units and commercial refrigeration equipment, repairing and replacing compressors, performing preventive maintenance, detecting and repairing refrigerant leaks, and troubleshooting refrigeration rack systems. Qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in HVAC and refrigeration repair, general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, and a valid driver’s license.
