Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the (International) telephone and online sales of Van Vijfeijken's trucks to both new and existing customers.
  • The customer base consists of truck-related companies such as transportation, agricultural, and mechanical businesses, as well as laborers.
  • Manage customer relationships and expand the existing customer base through visits to current and potential clients.
  • After selling a truck and/or machine, your task is to ensure that it is delivered in accordance with the agreed-upon delivery terms and services. You serve as the central point of contact for the entire sales process and provide the customer with all necessary information. Additionally, you may introduce alternative purchasing channels to the customer, such as the support employee responsible for truck/machine repairs and upgrades.
  • Under the guidance of a Manager Truck & Transport, you further develop your territory and personal competencies.

Requirements

  • Self-directed, motivated, commercial, accurate, communicative, and sociable.
  • A central point of contact in the entire sales process.
  • Built a strong infrastructure.
  • Synchronized demand and supply.
  • Quality measurement and monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Technical skills to handle trucks with conventional diesel engines, as well as hydrogen fuel cell trucks.
  • Ability to maintain and repair company vehicles and components independently.
  • Ability to coordinate with colleagues and mentor trainees.
  • Conduct inspections and controls.
  • Continuously improve the repair process.

Skills

  • MTS metal or automotive technology (or similar).
  • At least 3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance.
  • Knowledge and experience with diagnostic and repair work.
  • A positive attitude, able to approach tasks securely, and familiar with all types of materials.
  • Flexibility and can work weekends.

Open positions

We are seeking a flexible trailer driver with affinity in this market segment. Sometimes you work together with colleagues on projects involving long, wide, and/or heavy material transportation. Other times, you work independently, sometimes under supervision, traveling to the outside world and making 1 to 2 overnight stays per week.

Vereinschaft

  • EC-E driving license with code 95 and a digital driving license.
  • Fluent in Dutch.
  • Experience with a trailer pusher and affinity with specialized transport is preferred.
  • 220-hour period work permit.
  • Compensation according to the CAO Beroepsgoederenvervoer.
