What Youll Do on a Typical Day
- Responsible for the security, efficiency, and flow of warehouse inventory.
- Responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing all monthly inventory audits.
- Ensure warehouse space is utilized efficiently.
- Accurately inventory inbound/outbound tire shipments and process paperwork completely.
- Accurately identify and enter casing information into BIB Tread Mobile device (BTM), as well as, properly barcode clients tires and wheels.
- Oversees and executes the scrap out analysis process for Snider customers.
- Direct warehouse associates when tires need to be pulled or mounted for tire deliveries.
- In charge of and accounting for wheels being submitted for reconditioning.
- Responsible for counting and reconciling monthly retread inventory.
- Run monthly retread reports.
- Coincide with route driver; pull orders, and deliver tires based on customers needs.
- Report customer inventory levels upon request.
- Assist the Branch Manager with managing and maintaining inventory according to company standards.
- Responsible for maintaining up to date employee administrative files, DOT Med Cards, TIA certifications, forklift safety, employee evaluations, etc.
- Assist the Branch Manager with matters regarding P&L, employee payroll/overtime, and overall expenses.
- Responsible for the overall organization, inventory, and cleanliness of warehouse.
- Follow all safety rules, wear proper PPE and demonstrate safety conscious mindset.
- Demonstrate excellent attendance, show up to work on time and in the correct uniform.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures and values of Snider Fleet Solutions.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Education or Experience: High School Diploma or GED, at least 2 years' experience within the industry or a related management position.
- Certificates and Licenses: Forklift certification, obtained after employment. Lean Manufacturing and Six-Sigma (SME), preferred. Commercial TIA certification preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to pass background check and drug screen, safety conscious at all times, proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and the ability to learn and operate other software (AS400, SAP, Paylocity, BTN, etc.), strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail, ability to cycle inventory, run reports, and communicate with upper management, reliable and dependable with self-initiative, ability to multi-task, work effectively under pressure and time constraints, ability to work effectively as a team member and independently, with minimal supervision, ability to interact with all levels within the organization and client base, ability to understand the top 30 customers portfolio, as well as, the top 10 potential, superior customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal), demonstrate proficient analytical thinking and business insight, requires the ability to identify new opportunities for growth, must be able to work in a results-oriented fast-paced environment, sensitivity to confidential matters, must exemplify sound decision-making skills and be able to adapt quickly to changing conditions, must possess the ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, solve problems and resolve conflict, prior knowledge or ability to learn, implement, and monitor state/federal OSHA regulations, ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
