Responsibilities
- Lead the underwriting team to achieve profitable portfolio growth
- Make final decisions on complex accounts and guide on challenging risks
- Monitor team's workload and overall book results
- Align pricing with risk quality across the portfolio
- Build and strengthen agency relationships, including rehabilitating underperforming partners
- Implement strategies to enhance profitability and address performance gaps
- Education agents on products and systems to drive quality submissions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in insurance or business administration, or equivalent experience
- Six years of commercial lines underwriting or related experience
- Preferred insurance designations such as CPCU and CIC
- Expertise in underwriting and risk analysis
- Strong leadership and motivational skills

- $100,085 – $152,122 annually
