Commercial Underwriting Analyst I

About the role

Axos Bank Target Range: $23.00/Hr. - $25.00/Hr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Responsibilities

• Supports Commercial Lending Group by working with originators and underwriters to support the team in screening, underwriting and monitoring loans.
• Performs basic credit analysis – may include analyzing operating statements, recommending risk ratings.
• Analyzes Commercial Lending, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Equipment, and Loan and Lease Receivables collateral across an array of collateral types.
• Analyzes financial data to determine customers' financial status.
• Making process improvement and action recommendations researched and supported by data and key metrics.
• Supports administrative aspects of the originations process including document collection, organization, and tracking of due diligence requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2-4 years experience in monitoring or underwriting and structuring commercial lending transactions
