Job Summary
Headwaters Construction Company is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to coordinate operations and oversee workers/laborers at a construction site. The superintendent is responsible for the supervision of the actual physical construction of the project in strict accordance with the plans and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Generate and manage three-week rolling schedule
- Conduct and attend weekly coordination meetings
- Guarantee standards are met for quality construction
- Motivate and lead subcontractor tradesmen
- Provide expertise regarding construction means and methods
- Generate and monitor punch list for each subcontractor
- Above all, maintain a safe construction site at all times
Requirements
- 4+ years experience as a Superintendent
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management
- PREFERRED: In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
- Advanced understanding of trades
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate and lead effectively
