Audits Purchased Participation Loans

Responsible for auditing purchased participation loans to ensure alignment with the lead institution.

Research Discrepancies

Responsible for researching discrepancies on sold participation loans when the purchasing institution is out of alignment.

Requests Money from Participants

Responsible for requesting money from participants for advances made on lead loans.

Processes Wires Daily

Responsible for processing wires daily.

Assesses Annual Loan Fees

Responsible for assessing annual loan fees in Dealer Floor Plan software and sending customer notifications of fees.

Collections and Posts Fees

Responsible for collecting and posting fees.

Understands Third Party Software

Responsible for understanding third party software used for dealer floor plan processing and finding ways to use it for better efficiency.

Distributes Reports

Responsible for distributing daily and monthly Dealer Floor Plan and warehouse lending reports to designated departments and lenders.

Maintains Serviced Loan Transactions

Responsible for monitoring serviced loan transactions and notifying the customer of returned payments.

Processes Monthly Payments

Responsible for processing serviced loans monthly payments through online banking access.

Maintains Extensive Contact

Responsible for maintaining extensive daily contact with mortgage warehouse lenders, floor plan dealers, and various divisions of staff.

Resolves Issues

Responsible for researching and resolving issues encountered with daily warehouse and dealer floor plan transactions.

Maintains Interest Rates

Responsible for understanding and maintaining interest rates for both warehouse and dealer floor plan loans in the lending software.

Swap Loan Processing

  • Ensures coordination of payment/rate/accrual information with Bank’s Treasury Department, Chatham Financial Website, and Counter Parties.
  • Analyzes Swap loan issues and corrects errors.
  • Assists with training and guidance to team members regarding understanding, processing, and managing the workload.
  • Aids in the development and implementation of operational plans, policies, procedures, and goals that enhance scalability, automation, and efficiency.
  • Collaborates with peers and leaders to make recommendations for changes that improve efficiency.
  • Fosters strong relationships with leaders and peers to ensure collaboration and effective communication within the team.
  • Aids in the process flow documentation for assigned systems and areas of responsibility and pursues areas of improvement.
  • Aids in maintaining the repository of procedures, processes, job aids, and other critical information for functional areas.
  • Aids in driving the effective use of technology within functional areas.
  • Performs work within customer service level expectations and key vendor processing timelines.
  • Performs daily work as defined accurately.
  • Recommends to leadership about possible changes to processing that will enhance the process.

  • Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules, and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing.

Additional Information

  • The wage range for the Commercial Specialized Servicing Specialist is $17.65 - $20.00 an hour.
  • The position includes 17 days of PTO (Paid Time Off), 5 days of STD (Short Term Disability), 11 annual paid holidays, and 1 float holiday.
