Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and entrepreneurial leader to join Axtria as the Commercial Solutions Global CoE Leader. This role exists to hardwire deep pharma business context into Data & AI solutions. The leader will be responsible for building and leading a lean team of deep domain experts in pharma commercial space, including Medical Affairs, Omnichannel & Customer Engagement, and Patient Services & Hub Operations.
Why This Role Exists
Axtria is building the next generation of AI-powered commercial solutions for life sciences, and we are creating a Commercial Solutions Center of Excellence to lead that transformation. Just as Axtria has a dedicated Clinical Solutions CoE, we are now investing in a Commercial CoE—focused on Medical Affairs, Omnichannel & Customer Engagement, and Patient Services / Hubs. This role will define how deep pharma commercial expertise is embedded into AI and Data solutions at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Create commercially grounded AI accelerators that solve real pharma problems
- Turn innovation into funded client engagements with measurable ROI
- Enable account teams to confidently sell and defend these solutions
- Drive competitive displacement by winning deals from incumbents
- Build and lead a lean team of elite domain and business solution leaders
- Shape Axtria’s commercial AI portfolio for the agentic AI era
Who You Are
- You are a hybrid leader—not a pure consultant and not a pure pharma lifer.
- You likely:
- Spent meaningful years inside pharma commercial operations (Medical Affairs, Omnichannel, Patient Services, Commercial Ops)
- Then moved to a consulting, analytics, or platform firm where you built and scaled solutions
- Have been trusted by pharma leaders as a peer, not a vendor
- Know how to move from insight → solution → revenue
What You Bring
- 20+ years in life sciences with deep commercial expertise in at least two of:
- Medical Affairs
- Omnichannel & Customer Engagement
- Patient Services / Hub Operations
- Commercial Operations / Sales Effectiveness
Additional Information
Salary Range: $204,250 to $312,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
