The Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Solar Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team! This role requires a proven track record in solar sales, with a focus on commercial projects.
About the role
This position is based in Wauwatosa, WI - The right candidate must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
Responsibilities
- Pursue and generate commercial leads to develop new accounts
- Cook up site visits and prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations to potential customers
- Collaborate cross-functionally to nurture leads and see projects through to completion
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, networking, fundraising, canvassing or any fast-paced role demonstrating confidence, communications, persuasiveness and strong leadership and negotiating skills
- Minimum of 1 year of proven successful sales, customer service, or fundraising experience, highlighting your ability to achieve results and exceed targets
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures in a rapidly changing industry, demonstrating a proactive approach to professional development
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring positive interactions and building long-lasting relationships with clients
- Ability to use sound judgment in qualifying customers, identifying their needs, aligning them with appropriate solutions and helping them arrive at their own conclusion
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in solar systems, batteries and generators
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required
- Flexible availability to work some evenings and weekends, accommodating the scheduling needs of customers and maximizing sales opportunities
