Solar Sales Consultant

About the Role

A Solar Sales Consultant at Venture Home is not a lead-generation role involving door-to-door or cold-calling. We seek experienced sales representatives who are closers with a proven track record in sales, looking for the right environment to succeed. Our appointment-setting teams schedule qualified in-home meetings for you to educate homeowners and close deals, offering the best combination of products, services, and industry track record. We focus on making the sales process educational, helping customers understand how solar works and how their projects are financially viable—so it doesn’t feel "too good to be true."

Responsibilities

• Close sales with homeowners during in-home appointments scheduled by our team.
• Educate customers on solar, battery storage, and electrical upgrades, addressing both technical and financial aspects.
• Ensure customers understand the value and affordability of clean energy solutions.

Requirements

• Sales experience (required).
• Outside sales (in-home sales) experience (preferred).
• Solar industry experience (welcomed but not required).
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
