Commercial Service Technician III

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer concerns in commercial environments.
• Performs service on commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories.
• Performs start-ups on air conditioning as required.
• Delivers and removes equipment needed to complete service work.
• Provides excellent service to commercial customers and sustains high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handles customer concerns, questions or problems in an effective manner.
• Prepares material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels.
• Performs maintenance on equipment, services and/or cleans IAQ products.
• Soldering, welding, brazing, and minor field fabrication.

Qualifications/Skills

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A license in commercial HVAC required (Gasfitter 2 or Gasfitter 1 License) with Refrigeration license (313A License) preferred.
• A license in plumbing, electrical work, sheet metal, or refrigeration an asset.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in the commercial HVAC field.
• Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various projects.
• Service and/or cleaning IAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and performing minor field fabrication.
• Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.
• Able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.
• Able to work overtime and weekend hours as required.
