Commercial Scheduler/Senior Scheduler - Texas Gas Marketing & Trading

About the role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and responding to technical issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software applications.
• Provide technical support to employees and troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Implement and manage security protocols to protect company data and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of IT systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in IT support or management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and network administration.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing IT environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional travel.

Skills

• Technical proficiency in IT tools and software.
• Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).
• Experience with project management tools like Jira or Trello.
• Understanding of data backup and recovery procedures.
