About the role
Starting at $125k/yr (Commission-Based)
Responsibilities
- Review commercial project plans and specifications, product material takeoffs and turn them into accurate, competitive quotes.
- Manage submittals and project documentation, coordinate material deliveries and plan in advance to keep projects on schedule.
- Maintain and grow new and existing commercial accounts through top-notch service, honest pricing and strong relationships.
- Accurately prepare sales orders, quotes and proposals, by working closely with our support and estimating teams.
- Work closely with our Vermont commercial sales team, building components division (trusses and wall panels) sales manager and ownership on strategic account development, pricing and project coordination.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates will have an in-depth knowledge of building material products, their applications and specifications.
- A proven background in project management at a commercial level.
- Must be comfortable on large scale jobsites.
- While not necessary, a background in sales is a plus.
- Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
- Able to read blueprints, produce accurate and competitive quotes and manage multiple projects at once.
- Proficient in the commercial submittal process via construction management platforms such as Procore.
- A knowledge of building component manufacturing (roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels) a plus.
- Proficient in computer software including Bluebeam, the Microsoft office suite, etc.
- Must be a self-motivated, reliable team player with an open mind and a strong work ethic.
