Overview

As a Commercial Roofing Technician with Bone Dry Roofing, the technician role is a hands-on service position focused on repair excellence. This technician performs service calls, repair work, and diagnostic inspections while delivering dependable service in the field. Responsibilities

• Perform necessary repairs for commercial properties as described in the scope of work
• Be the main point of contact for the commercial business customer during the project
• Estimate materials and labor required to complete projects
• Communicate with customers before, during, and after projects
• Be on call for after-hours emergency calls if on rotation
• Prepare and collect invoices once the job is complete
• Look for other necessary repairs on properties, i.e., gutters, windows, etc.
• Follow all safety procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial roofing experience
• Ability to perform service tasks at heights
• Low-slope systems knowledge
• Comfort climbing ladders and working at heights
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work two Saturdays per month during peak season

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This position primarily involves working in the field at work sites
• Must be able to work in varied weather conditions and in a physically demanding environment
• Must be able to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders to determine work needs
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record that meets company and insurance requirements to travel to and from work sites
