Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Mechanic

About the role

Responsible for fabrication and installation of all sheet metal on various commercial roof systems. You will be working with the roofing crew to complete all aspects of assigned jobs, including tear-off of existing gutters and coping cap, installations, and other tasks.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install sheet metal components for commercial roof systems
• Perform tear-off of existing gutters and coping cap
• Complete installations and other assigned tasks
• Fill out daily reports

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in commercial roofing sheet metal work
• Experience in sheet metal installation
• Ability to fabricate metal components
• Valid driver’s license
• Respectful and diligent work ethic

Bilingual ability is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Field environment with exposure to heights, noise, and temperature variations
• Extensive standing, walking, and climbing ladders
• Frequent lifting and physical effort
• Mostly local travel within Atlanta; occasional travel may be required
