Commercial Roofing Service Tech I

About the Role

JB Roofing, a Tecta America commercial roofing company established in 1970, is searching for a Commercial Roofing Service Tech I at our Worthington, OH location. You will lead the service crew, investigating, locating, and repairing leaks and defects in commercial roofing systems including EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal. You will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform roof maintenance and repairs in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Manage a commercial roofing crew, including completing required paperwork and attending meetings as necessary.
• Assist in training crew members as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years of experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• A valid driver's license.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Must be able to work at varying heights and during a variety of weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Demonstrated initiative, integrity, and adaptability.
• Technology savvy.
