Commercial Roofing Foreman

Ideal Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to lead and work alongside field crews on commercial and industrial roofing projects. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily jobsite operations while actively participating in installation, repair, and maintenance of multiple roofing systems, including TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and roof coatings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and direct roofers and laborers, fostering teamwork, accountability, and jobsite discipline
• Plan daily work activities and coordinate crew assignments
• Install and oversee installation of commercial roofing systems, including:
  • TPO, PVC, and cold-applied systems
  • Modified Bitumen and roof coatings
  • Shingle and tile roofing systems
• Identify roof leaks and perform detailed diagnostic inspections
• Perform and oversee quality repairs and corrective actions
• Conduct and enforce safety meetings and company safety protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site at all times
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment efficiently
• Drive company vehicles to and from job sites as needed
• Communicate clearly with crew members, supervisors, and management

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing
• Proven experience working with multiple roofing systems and installation techniques
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills related to leak detection and repairs
• Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing roofing crews
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to make sound decisions under pressure
• Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Pay

$36–$40 per hour, based on experience, plus bonuses

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime opportunities available
• Weekend availability may be required based on project needs

Location

Based out of Ideal Roofing & Waterproofing field operations in Garden Grove, CA. Projects require travel; per diem and transportation provided.
