Commercial Roofing Foreman

About the role

The Commercial Roofing Foreman at WTI is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of roofing projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety briefings with the Sales Rep, customer, and WTI Crew.
• Inspect and address safety concerns related to surroundings, equipment, and tools.
• Complete and submit Daily Hazard Analysis forms to Supervisors.
• Communicate project details with Sales Rep, WTI crew, and customer.
• Manage crew start and end times, production rates, and tool/material availability.
• Perform end-of-day and end-of-project walk-throughs to ensure quality repairs and address issues.
• Document and report project status to Sales Rep and WTI Supervisor.
• Maintain professional appearance and customer interactions for WTI Field Reps.
• Order, track, and monitor inventory, ensuring quarterly cycle counts are completed on time.
• Review and price field service projects over $5,000 for accuracy.
• Submit projects over $20,000 to WTI Supervisor before submission to Sales Rep or customer.
• Monitor and document the performance of Field Resource Reps, taking corrective actions as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by WTI Supervisor and Regional Manager.

Requirements

Minimum five years' experience in the commercial roofing industry. Must be familiar with various roofing systems and their proper repair methods.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other low-slope roofing systems.
• Familiarity with metal and steep slope roofing systems.
