Commercial & Residential Loss Control Consultant-Independent Contractor

About the role

An independent contractor is needed to perform on-site field inspections and Loss Control services for our clients. The primary responsibility is to assist in making underwriting decisions by providing a detailed assessment of the risk, taking exterior measurements to determine square footage, photographing hazards and conditions of the insured property, and documenting the insured operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site physical inspections
• Provide construction of the risk assessment
• Take exterior measurements to determine square footage
• Photograph hazards and conditions of the property insured
• Document details of the insured operations

Requirements

• Motivated individuals willing to travel to assigned areas
• Economical transportation recommended
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Tools required: computer with broadband internet, digital camera, measuring wheel, and valid drivers license

Qualifications

Must have the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet client needs and deadlines.
