Commercial Renewable Energy Technician

Location: Houston, TX (or nearby areas) • Duration: Contract to Hire

About the role

We are seeking experienced Commercial Renewable Energy Technicians to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in commercial renewable energy services who are comfortable with frequent travel to support field operations. Note: Client prefers someone who has previously worked with Pearce Renewables, CES, or similar organizations.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial renewable energy systems.
• Travel extensively to customer sites to provide field service and technical support.
• Follow all safety standards, company procedures, and industry best practices.
• Complete service documentation and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Requirements

• Prior commercial renewable energy experience is required.
• Experience working with established renewable energy service companies such as Pearce Renewables, CES, or similar organizations is strongly preferred.
• Must be based in Houston, TX, or the surrounding area.
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively as part of the role.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical, and communication skills.
