About the role
Client is a trusted commercial kitchen service company specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of essential kitchen equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, undercounter units, and ice machines.
- Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Service hot-side equipment such as ovens, fryers, steamers, and dishwashers (experience preferred).
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, gas, and control systems.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings and repair recommendations.
- Complete accurate service documentation and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
- Work independently while supporting a respectful, team-oriented culture.
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial refrigeration service experience.
- Proven experience servicing walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, and commercial refrigeration systems.
- EPA Certification required.
- VT Natural Gas License preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Professional attitude with customers and coworkers.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
