Responsibilities
- Support commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financing transactions from contract through closing.
- Prepare and manage closing checklists and transaction documents.
- Order and review title commitments and coordinate title insurance.
- Monitor contract deadlines and maintain transaction calendars.
- Prepare closing documents, escrow instructions, and post-closing binders.
- Coverdue diligence and organize transaction files.
- Prepare entity formation documents, operating agreements, corporate resolutions, and related governance documents.
- Obtain EINs, Certificates of Occupancy, Bulk Sales Certificates, and other regulatory filings.
- Cooky signatures, notarizations, and closing logistics.
- Track legal projects, invoices, and departmental workflow.
- Assist with litigation tracking and outside counsel coordination as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- Active Pennsylvania Notary Public commission preferred.
- 3-5+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Experience supporting commercial real estate closings, financing transactions, title review, and due diligence.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Workspace.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
