Responsibilities
- Prepare material and labor cost estimates, direct margin expectations, and confirm project specifications and work scope.
- Manage commercial and multifamily projects, collaborating directly with architects, owners, and general contractors to offer value engineering options and challenge design/product specifications to mitigate risks.
- Oversee project procurement, coordinate with general contractors and trades for sequencing, perform site visits, and prepare schedules of values for revenue recognition.
- Generate monthly requisitions for invoicing and track production milestones to meet budget objectives.
- Work closely with the sales team to design product configurations and generate estimates for work to be performed.
- Create CAD drawings of proposed designs.
- Verify estimates include correct products and quantities; recommend and incorporate design changes as requested by customers.
- Review estimates with the sales team to ensure accuracy and capture all design components with proper charges.
- Modify estimates per customer or sales manager requests.
- Provide estimates for change orders on current projects.
- Respond to customer and sales team questions regarding estimate and design details.
- Perform additional duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.

- Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations and “what if” analysis.
- Capable of calculating square footage and detailed measurements; reconfiguring measurements to adjust designs.
- Proficient in quickly creating and modifying take-offs for large projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP applications (preferably Oracle).
- Proficient in CAD (computer-aided drawing) software for design configuration.
- Ability to compile professional sales estimates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
- 3+ years of relevant construction industry experience.
- Prior quote and estimate creation experience preferred.
- May require overtime and weekend work as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
- Good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, depending on job duties.
Travel Requirements
Local travel required, less than 10%.

Pay
Compensation range: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also include variable compensation.
