Commercial Project Manager (GC)

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Commercial Project Manager (GC) to join our ever-growing team in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle including conception, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of commercial construction projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, budget estimates, and schedules.
• Manage and coordinate with team members, subcontractors, and all other stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of projects.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Review and approve project designs and plans, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects.
• Proficient knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry trends.
• Strong knowledge of construction details and quality standards.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of building codes, laws, and regulations.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Job Details

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial projects from inception to completion. This hands-on role will require a high level of professional judgement and decision-making skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

Salary: $100,000 - $135,000 per year
