Commercial Project Manager - Client Solutions

About the role

As a Commercial Project Manager, you are the driving force behind every commercial project's success. You lead with confidence and clarity, turning complex scopes into well-executed plans that deliver outstanding results. Your day involves coordination, problem-solving, and leadership as you guide site superintendents and teams through each phase of the project. You collaborate with clients, adjusters, and internal teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and quality from start to finish. Whether reviewing estimates, working with cost consultants, visiting job sites, or managing change orders, you stay focused on safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial restoration and construction projects from start to finish
• Manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules simultaneously
• Collaborate with clients, adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Review estimates and work with cost consultants
• Conduct job site visits and manage change orders
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety requirements, and quality standards
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Travel for extended periods for CAT (catastrophe) assignments as needed

Requirements

• 2+ years of project supervision or equivalent experience in commercial restoration or construction
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in commercial construction or a related field is an asset
• IICRC certifications are a plus
• Provincial asbestos certification required or ability to obtain
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software
• Comfort using mobile applications for project management
• Ability to handle material, lift, climb, and use personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and safety footwear
