Commercial Pool Service Technician

Job Summary

The Commercial Maintenance Technician will provide consistent quality pool cleaning and maintenance service, developing and maintaining a base of satisfied clients. Rate of pay depends on experience.

Responsibilities

• Check water chemistry and balance pool water through the addition of the appropriate chemicals
• Maintain pool cleanliness by brushing, vacuuming, netting, cleaning tiles, and emptying baskets of debris
• Perform minor repairs and minor programming of pool equipment
• Keep pool equipment area tidy and organized
• Loading vehicle with standard and out-of-ordinary stock. Ensure all stock removed from the warehouse is accurately recorded
• Record all materials and products used on-site for invoicing purposes
• Identify and report any maintenance problems or faults
• Develop and nurture customer relationships with pool guests and on-site maintenance crews
• Document visits via the company reporting system using phone app
• Update DOH logs
• Maintain 6-10 pools 2-3 times per week

Qualifications

• Mature minded and take your position seriously
• Present yourself with a professional appearance
• 6 months to 1 year minimum experience of commercial pool service is mandatory
• Have a great personality
• Able to work in public and speak respectfully and professionally
• Able to start and hold conversations when necessary
• Excellent customer relationship building and communication is a must
• Loves working outside
• Able to lift to 50 lbs. plus and conduct physical labor in the Florida heat and weather
• Able to represent Poolwerx by having a positive attitude and working well independently while exhibiting team-oriented behavior to ensure consistent client satisfaction, resulting in repeat business and referrals
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred but not required
• Valid Driver’s License

Pay

Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected workweek of 38 to 42 hours depending on the condition of your pools and your efficiency
