Commercial Paint Estimator

About the role

Cultivate and maintain client relationships to win bids and drive sales/business growth through exceptional communication and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Prepare professionally written bids for projects of various sizes and scopes.
• Utilize basic computer applications and estimating software programs such as On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, and Excel.
• Conduct scope analysis, verification, and pre-bid walkthroughs, as well as on-site evaluations.
• Create accurate estimated proposals that include the work scope along with pertinent clarifications and/or exclusions related to the bid submission.
• Work with Project Managers to provide information and feedback in setting up blue sheets, production schedules, material takeoffs, and schedule of values.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand architectural plans.
• Proficient with On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, and/or Bluebeam.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Able to work efficiently in autonomous environments with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
