Commercial New Construction Mechanic

About the role

Gentry Service Group, located in Swannanoa, NC, is a customer-focused heating and air-conditioning company originally started in 1963. We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC New Construction Mechanic to install HVAC equipment, sheet metal products, and ductwork for commercial projects, including package units, rooftop units, split systems, and other commercial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment for commercial projects
• Install sheet metal products and ductwork
• Installation and modification of duct systems, piping systems, control wiring, and other HVAC-related components

Requirements

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience in commercial applications
• 3+ years of sheet metal installation experience in commercial applications
• Valid driver’s license and insurable by company carrier
• Brazing Certifications
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
