Responsibilities
- Understanding of project goals and contractual requirements prior to project commencement.
- Review project estimate and construction documents in advance.
- Ordering of materials, scheduling deliveries and onsite material management to reduce waste.
- Validate schedule progression and adherence, and product quality.
- Oversee subcontractors to ensure installation complies with manufacturers written installation instructions.
- Complete one (1) Jobsite Inspection report for each day on jobsite using Pronto Forms. Copy of which shall be distributed by day’s end to all Team Members.
- Perform one (1) Jobsite Safety Inspection, per jobsite, per week, using Pronto Forms. All safety concerns to be immediately corrected onsite and communicated to the Office.
- Include manufacturer representatives for onsite preconstruction conferences to ensure everyone has a proper understanding of installation requirements. (DuPont Tyvek, Huber Zip products, Cement Siding, Windows)
- Perform a punch list as it relates to our work and ensure its completion prior to project closeout.
- Aids in resolving any issues/conflicts relating to construction activities.
- Review and authorize subcontract draw amounts and work completed (payment by Office).
- Work with Client’s field personnel closely and professionally so that customer satisfaction is maintained. Any jobsite delays or changes shall be communicated via e-mail with Client.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Field Superintendent or similar role in commercial multifamily construction projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and regulations.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment.
- Proficiency in construction management software.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
