Indian Trails is looking for a full-time Commercial Motorcoach Operator to join our bus operator team in Kalamazoo, Owosso, and Romulus, MI. Whether you're driving a scheduled route or a private charter, each day will bring a new adventure.

Start your journey earning $18/hour during training and $24/hour after training, with plenty of opportunities for growth.

Schedules will vary depending on routes and charter trips.

Training

Training lasts 4 - 6 weeks, and you'll be paid while earning your CDL B with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements if you don't already have one.

Responsibilities

• Hit the road, ensuring passengers arrive safely and comfortably at their destinations
• Spend your time behind the wheel, navigating routes, staying on schedule, and providing excellent customer service
• Greet passengers, assist with luggage, and create a welcoming environment onboard
• Make every ride a smooth and enjoyable experience, whether it's a scheduled bus route or a charter trip across state lines

Requirements

• Passion for providing exceptional customer service
• CDL (A or B) with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements and an excellent driving record (or the ability to obtain one)
• Ability to obtain and enhance a license or passport for travel outside the U.S.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Enjoyment of traveling, seeing new places, and meeting new people
• Professional and courteous attitude when working with passengers
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen, Breath Alcohol test and physical
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check with no prior alcohol or drug related convictions
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check with no felonies
