Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator

Daily Responsibilities

  • Safely transport steel parts and plates between our fabrication shops and job sites.
  • Ensure the secure loading and unloading of materials, following both safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure the vehicle's safety and promptly report any issues.
  • Cook up delivery schedules with dispatch, colleagues, and clients, working together to address any concerns.
  • Perform a strong adherence to DOT regulations and traffic laws.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid DOT CDL Class B driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in steel or construction material delivery is a plus.
  • Able to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
  • Possess attention to detail.
  • Have thorough understanding of, and adherence to, all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
  • Must prioritize the safety of yourself, your colleagues, and the general public while on the road.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and exhibit a strong work ethic.
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and uphold our core values of being customer-centric and problem solvers.
