Part-Time Commercial Motorcoach Operator

About the role

Indian Trails is seeking a part‑time Commercial Motorcoach Operator to join its bus operator team. You will spend your days behind the wheel, navigating scheduled routes or private charter trips, ensuring passengers arrive safely and comfortably while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial motorcoach on scheduled routes or charter trips, staying on schedule and adhering to safety regulations.
• Greet passengers, assist with luggage, and create a welcoming onboard environment.
• Provide courteous, professional service and address passenger needs during the journey.
• Maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness and report any mechanical issues.
• For multi‑day trips, travel with accommodations and meals covered by the company.

Requirements

• Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• CDL (Class A or B) with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements and an excellent driving record (or ability to obtain one).
• Ability to obtain and enhance a license or passport for travel outside the U.S.
• Pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and breath‑alcohol test.
• Pass a criminal background check with no felonies or prior alcohol/drug‑related convictions.
• Enjoy traveling, seeing new places, and meeting new people.
• Professional and courteous attitude when working with passengers.

Pay

Earn $18 per hour during the 4–6 week training period and $24 per hour after training. Training is paid, and you will receive your CDL B with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements if you do not already have them.

Schedules will vary depending on routes and charter trips.
