As a Commercial Mortgage Analyst, you will monitor and analyze the financial condition of existing commercial mortgage loans—both at the property and guarantor levels—to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and assess performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and execution of new loan production with senior team members.
- Develop and produce periodic (monthly, quarterly, annually) performance and compliance reporting packages for existing loans.
- Analyze financial information, including operating statements, rent rolls, personal financial statements, and corporate financial statements, to determine performance and compliance with reporting requirements and covenants.
- For income-producing properties, track occupancy and average revenue by unit (by property type) and compare against Borrower’s and/or Appraiser’s pro formas used in the loan marketing package.
- Review appraisals, environmental documentation, and engineering reports to determine compliance with loan requirements.
- Support Producers in client engagement and development.
- Submit regular monitoring reports to bankers and loan servicing.
- Conduct site visits and perform property inspections as needed.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures related to program revisions and guideline changes.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in Commercial Real Estate, commercial mortgage lending, or a related field.
- Experience supporting the closing of new business transactions preferred.
- Foundational understanding of the Commercial Real Estate industry gained through coursework, internships, or professional experience.
- Familiarity with primary commercial property types: multifamily, industrial, office, retail, and hospitality.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; advanced financial and data manipulation in Microsoft Excel and experience with AI efficiency tools preferred.
- Ability to review and analyze complex financial and commercial loan documents.
- Broad intellectual curiosity and a desire to grow professionally.
Schedule
This is a full-time, in-office position requiring three days a week on-site. Workdays are Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

Pay
Approximate compensation range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually.
