Commercial Maintenance Technician (New Orleans, LA |)
Key Responsibilities
- Completing scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs per work orders
- Performing minor plumbing tasks such as unclogging toilets, replacing fixtures, and maintaining sensors
- Conducting routine painting, carpentry, drywall repairs, and touch-ups to maintain premises in like-new condition
- Performing minor electrical repairs, including replacing fixtures, switches, and outlets within legal licensing limits
- Documenting work via handheld devices, submitting service reports, and tracking inventory and expenses
- Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Supporting safety initiatives by completing required safety and compliance training and participating in weekly safety meetings
- Assisting with larger project estimates and service requests as needed
Top Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in trades preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial maintenance or related trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC)
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Requirements
