Responsibilities
- Perform underwriting across all commercial lending verticals (C&I, CRE, Construction), in accordance with Bank pipeline demands while complying with State Regulatory guidelines and Salem Five’s policies and procedures.
- Manage department reporting assignments allocated by the Chief Credit Officer, including Loan Policy Exception Reporting, NAICS Reporting, Financial Tracking Reporting, Concentration of Credit Reporting, Annual Review Reporting, and other requested reports.
- Assume ownership of the Department’s role in completing the Bank’s Allowance for Loan Loss reporting on a quarterly basis.
- Manage financial Statement Spreading completion in Baker Hill with the underwriting team (Jr. Underwriters and Commercial Loan Underwriter I).
- Handle assigned duties related to the management of the department internship program.
- Demonstrate compliance with banking business laws and regulations as defined in company policies and procedures.
- Regular attendance is essential to this position.
- Assume additional responsibilities as requested.
- Assist with the development of more junior personnel and planning of workflow for the Team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum of three to five years of relevant credit-related experience.

Pay
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000. The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, and performance. This range may be modified in the future.
