Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist

Responsibilities
- Accurately process and maintain both routine and complex loan transactions across multiple product types including Consumer, Business, SBA, National Floor Plans, and Participations.
- Understand and adhere to bank policies, applicable laws and regulations, and the Bank’s BSA/AML Program to maintain compliance, reduce regulatory risk, and protect the bank from legal or financial exposure.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy while providing proactive communication and support to stakeholders to promote efficient operations, strong collaboration, and consistent, high‑quality service experience.
- Validate the accuracy of loan terms and conditions within the bank’s core operating system and third‑party platforms to support proper servicing, reliable reporting, and the prevention of operational or customer‑impacting errors.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts affected by loan servicing activity to uphold the integrity of financial records and identify discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare accurate payoff quotes and process paid loans within required timeframes to facilitate smooth loan resolution and minimize financial or operational risk.
- Complete account verifications and servicing requests accurately and promptly to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Administer and maintain floor‑plan loan setups and system updates, including unit pricing and billing data to support effective portfolio management and accurate customer billing.
- Partner with floor‑plan lenders and internal credit teams to reinforce adherence to policies, guidelines, and risk‑management standards, supporting overall portfolio quality.
- Prepare and distribute monthly manual billing statements for floor‑plan customers; monitor incoming payments and proactively follow up on outstanding balances to promote timely collections and reduce delinquency risk.
- Upload audit documentation to third‑party platforms and coordinate with customers to obtain supporting information, such as rental revenue invoices, to support accurate reporting, audit readiness, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and complete paid‑loan recorded satisfactions, lien releases, and UCC filings to support proper collateral release, maintain compliance with legal requirements, and protect the bank’s secured position.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with third‑party vendors, customers, and external partners to support servicing accuracy, facilitate timely issue resolution, and elevate the overall customer experience.
Schedule
Typical hours are between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm CST, Monday through Friday. Schedule may vary within this range.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university and 2–4 years related experience or training in lending, loan processing, or compliance; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of commercial loan structures, documentation, and servicing requirements.
- Familiarity with loan participation, lines of credit, and floor‑plan lending (preferred).
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial and loan data to support accurate servicing, decision‑making, and issue resolution.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally to both internal and external stakeholders.
