Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist

About the role
This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing legal documentation for complex commercial loan transactions, ensuring all documents comply with corporate credit policy, regulatory standards, and internal guidelines. The specialist collaborates closely with relationship banking staff, legal departments, and external counsel to confirm that all loan terms and conditions are properly documented and protects the bank’s interests.
Responsibilities
- Determine required documentation for commercial loan transactions
- Coordinate loan closings
- Ensure due diligence is completed
- Audit existing loan files
- Recommend improvements to procedures and operational controls
- Support training for new team members
- Serve as a resource for complex transactions
Requirements
- Experience with Laser Pro legal documentation software or similar application in the financial or legal industry
- Knowledge of ACBS, IBS, or FIS is helpful
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
Pay
Salary range is $52,800 - 79,200 USD (good faith estimate of base pay).
