Commercial Litigation - Associate (Junior) - Denver

Job Summary

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, is seeking a full-time Associate in the Litigation Practice of our Denver office. The position offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

We are a leading firm on the Am Law Global 100, providing strategic counsel in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and multidistrict proceedings nationwide. Our litigators represent clients ranging from Fortune 50 companies to emerging businesses, and we collaborate with nationally recognized trial lawyers and industry leaders.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients, large and small, from a variety of industries across the country
• Analyze legal issues
• Draft briefs
• Summarize factual situations
• Pursue discovery
• Assist with and/or take and defend depositions
• Appear before state and federal courts

Requirements

• 2-3 years of litigation experience
• Excellent academic credentials
• Writing skills and organizational abilities
• Experience analyzing legal issues
• Experience drafting briefs
• Experience summarizing factual situations
• Experience pursuing discovery
• Experience assisting with and/or taking and defending depositions
• Experience appearing before state and federal courts
• In good standing with the Colorado Bar

Qualifications

• Preferred candidates will have experience analyzing legal issues, drafting briefs, summarizing factual situations, and pursuing discovery, as well as assisting with and/or taking and defending depositions, and appearing before state and federal courts.

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $210,000 to $230,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Schedule

Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
