Commercial Litigation Associate Location: Birmingham, AL A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its Birmingham office. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established litigation practice handling sophisticated commercial, regulatory and other contentious matters. The position offers meaningful client contact, collaboration with experienced litigators and a clear partnership-track opportunity. Key Responsibilities Handle complex commercial and regulatory litigationDraft substantive motions, pleadings and other litigation documentsManage discovery in complex casesConduct sophisticated legal research and analysisAssist with case strategy and litigation preparationCommunicate directly with clients and opposing counselManage multiple matters and competing deadlinesWork closely with partners, senior counsel and associates on significant disputes Who You Are 3-5 years of transferable litigation experienceStrong knowledge of litigation procedure and motion practiceExperience managing discovery in complex casesExceptional academic credentialsExcellent legal research and writing skillsStrong communication and client-facing abilitiesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailCommitment to client service and community involvementActive Alabama Bar admissionBased in Birmingham or willing to relocate before commencementAvailable to work in the office at least three business days per week Compensation Salary Range: $250,000 – $315,000 Benefits Compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.
