About the role
Join the Commercial Litigation practice in our Milwaukee office.
Responsibilities
- Research and draft legal memoranda and motions
- Appear and argue at hearings in Wisconsin state and federal courts and in arbitration
- Draft and respond to written discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Manage smaller matters with limited supervision
- Work successfully as part of a team on larger matters
Requirements
- Significant experience in legal research and drafting
- Experience in courtroom proceedings and arbitration
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and as part of a team
- Strong academic record
- Drive, enthusiasm, and commitment to partnership
Qualifications
- Admitted to practice in Wisconsin
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
