Commercial Litigation Associate

Responsibilities

• Conducting factual investigations and discovery
• Preparing pleadings
• Taking depositions
• Arguing motions
• Participating in mediation
• Communicating with clients

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation
• Licensed in Delaware or Illinois (active bar license or commitment to obtain one promptly)
• Experience in both state and federal court preferred
• Experience in administrative matters and arbitrations beneficial
• Second‑chair experience at trial or arbitration preferred but not required

Pay

The compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $220,000 to $265,000. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
