Commercial Litigation Associate

About the role

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our growing business litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to manage sophisticated commercial disputes, work directly with clients, and play a meaningful role in case strategy from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing firm.

Responsibilities

• Draft motions, discovery, briefs and related legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Participate in settlement discussions and prepare settlement agreements.
• Appear in court for hearings and law & motion.
• Engage in meet-and-confer efforts with opposing counsel.
• Assist with trial preparation and strategy.
• Perform legal research to support case development and motion work.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 3+ years of business litigation experience.
• Strong writing, research and communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
• Motivated, dependable, and eager to develop litigation skills within a supportive environment.

Pay

Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year (starting salary $140,000+ DOE, negotiable depending upon experience).

Schedule

Hybrid schedule (remote + in-office flexibility).
