About the Role

Seeking a motivated and results-driven Commercial Lines Producer to join a dynamic and collaborative team. This role is ideal for an individual with strong client relationship skills, a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for all commercial insurance needs.
  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals, while maintaining an active pipeline of potential clients.
  • Assess clients' business insurance needs, recommend appropriate policies, and provide tailored coverage options to protect their assets and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct policy reviews with clients to ensure adequate coverage and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products.
  • Stay current on commercial insurance trends, competitive products, and regulatory changes in the insurance industry.
  • Partner with internal teams, including underwriters and claims professionals, to ensure high-quality service delivery for clients.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all client interactions and transactions.
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, and performance targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Valid state-issued Property and Casualty Insurance Producer License required (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
  • Proven track record of success as a Commercial Lines Producer or Insurance Sales Professional, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, including liability, property, workers' compensation, and other lines of coverage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively explain complex insurance concepts.
  • Confident and strategic negotiator capable of securing favorable terms for clients and the company.
  • Comfortable utilizing CRM tools, insurance software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be willing to attend onsite client meetings or industry events as needed (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required).
