Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective and current accounts, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients to understand their specific commercial insurance needs and provide customizable insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
• Stay up to date with current industry trends, products, and regulations to provide expert guidance and advice to clients.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage options with underwriters on behalf of clients.
• Conduct regular reviews of clients' insurance policies, ensuring appropriate coverage and recommending modifications as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales, and policy documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Actively represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and other professional forums to expand your professional network and enhance organizational visibility.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team sales goals.
• Participate in training sessions to develop product knowledge and enhance professional skills.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Insurance Producer or in a similar sales-driven role (insurance licensure is required).
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, policies, and industry-related regulations.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, manage multiple clients, and prioritize competing needs effectively.
• Proficiency with CRM software and insurance-specific sales management tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to continuing education and staying informed about changes in the insurance industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
