Commercial Lines Producer

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Producer to join an established and reputable independent insurance agency. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and grow your own book of business while working in a collaborative and results-driven environment. With access to a wide range of carrier markets and dedicated CSR support, you will have the tools and resources needed to focus on sales and relationship building.

Pay

Competitive commission structure:

• 40% new business commission
• 30% renewal commission
• Long-term renewal income potential

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new Commercial Lines business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships through networking, referrals, and community involvement
• Meet with business owners to assess and identify their insurance needs
• Prepare and present proposals to secure new business
• Collaborate with a dedicated CSR for new business processing and ongoing client servicing
• Foster relationships with carrier partners and underwriters
• Consistently meet or exceed production goals

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License
• Proven experience in Commercial Lines sales
• Demonstrated ability to develop and close new business
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of Commercial Lines production experience
• Familiarity with AMS360 software
• Experience working with carriers such as Westfield, Travelers, CNA, Western Reserve, and Liberty
