Commercial Lines Account Manager
About the role
Leavitt Insurance, a Leavitt Group affiliate in Las Vegas, is seeking a motivated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their growing team. This position offers the opportunity to make a real impact in an environment where expertise is valued.
Responsibilities
- Preparing accurate and complete insurance applications using underwriting info provided by the producer
- Collaborating daily with the Commercial Lines Manager on key deadlines and ongoing projects
- Coordinating with internal service teams to ensure timely, client-focused execution
- Supporting marketing efforts alongside your assigned Account Executive, including market selection and outreach
- Following up with carriers for quotations and ensuring timely proposal development
- Creating and revising proposals per Account Executive direction and producer/client meetings
- Verifying consistency between submissions, quotes, and final proposals
- Aiding producers with binder issuance and obtaining client sign-offs
- Managing certificate issuance, invoicing, and policy checks
- Assisting with endorsement processing and auto ID card management
Requirements
You must have an active Property & Casualty license in the state of Nevada. Experience managing commercial insurance accounts, particularly in contractor and construction segments, is essential. Strong understanding of agency operations and account service workflows is also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is necessary, and experience with AMS360 is highly preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with detail-oriented and organized work habits, are crucial. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment is expected.
Skills
Skilled in navigating carrier rating software and possessing strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities are beneficial.
