Commercial Licensed Electrician supporting operational efficiency and project completion through electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work. This role collaborates with employees, customers, vendors, and leadership to ensure electrical systems are installed and maintained safely, accurately, and in compliance with company and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and work orders to support accurate project execution.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
  • Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding project activities and operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and project activities.
  • Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
  • Monitor equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
  • Assist with supporting and training less experienced technicians as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical documentation.
  • Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing equipment, and related systems.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and electrical codes.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle record checks.
  • English speaking, reading, and writing preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required to support project and operational needs.
  • Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience within construction, operations, or service environments preferred.
  • Relevant industry certifications or licenses required where necessary to perform job duties.
  • Experience supporting field operations or assisting senior technicians is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Communicate in person, by phone, and through email.
  • Stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Sit for extended periods while driving to and between job sites.
  • Work on active job sites, indoors and outdoors, including attics, crawlspaces, and confined or elevated spaces, with exposure to varying weather, construction noise, dust, and other job site conditions.
  • Wear safety gear such as Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
  • Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position.
