About the role
Onsite position at BancFirst, Skiatook (1525 West Rogers Boulevard, Skiatook, OK 74070).
Responsibilities
- Obtain and develop a quality loan portfolio with annual performance goals while managing the existing portfolio.
- Meet with current and potential loan customers.
- Inspect equipment, evaluate various types of loan collateral, and make written reports.
- Monitor, review, and analyze loans and the financial condition of existing customers.
- Service loan portfolios, including renewing, extending, and collecting loans.
- Make lending decisions within designated lending limits.
- Consistently execute loan policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Research and resolve problems on loan accounts.
- Manage branch operations, including personnel administration and loan compliance.
- Manage overtime and meet sales goals for operations and loans.
- Ensure branch security.
- Promote BancFirst services through cross-selling banking products to new and existing clientele.
- Participate in various community and public events.
- Consistently execute policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Assist with other job-related duties and special projects as requested.
Requirements
- Extraordinary customer service skills.
- Current working knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.
- In-depth understanding of branch banking and its position in the industry.
- Ability to manage employees while multitasking large projects.
- Critical thinking and reasoning skills.
- Able to perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, banking software applications.
- Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks.
- Must always demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor.
- Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be flexible and able to work additional hours when crucial to the department.
- Excellent work ethic.
- Daily attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field (preferred).
- Significant previous experience in the banking industry (preferred).
- Broad banking knowledge (preferred).
- Lending experience (preferred).
Physical Requirements
- Constant use of computer screens.
- Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see, or hear.
- Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling, or crouching.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time during the workday.
- Long periods of typing and repetitive motion.
- Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 10 pounds.
