Responsibilities
- Maintains a medium-sized individual loan portfolio and manages ongoing business relationships to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Achieves and exceeds sales goals as assigned.
- Engages in outside calls and solicits new business from both existing and potential clients.
- Provides timely loan information to enhance the pipeline report.
- Serves as a member of the Bank's sales team, participating in group sales calls to boost new business development.
- Maintains a comprehensive understanding of all Bank commercial products and services to effectively address customer needs and sell accordingly.
- Directly serves commercial customers for deposits, loans, and other miscellaneous products and services within individual lending authority.
- Affords assistance to customers in accessing specialized services from other Bank departments and addresses specific inquiries or service issues.
- Processes and completes necessary loan paperwork to expedite loan closings.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Bank operating policies and procedures impacting commercial services.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records of all customer service calls and meetings.
- Communicates with management and staff to align goals and activities.
- Responds promptly to inquiries and requests from management, staff, customers, and others within given timeframes and according to established policies.
- Maintains relevant records and provides assigned reports.
- Participates actively in community organizations and activities that reflect positively on the Bank.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is typically required; specialized bank lending education/training is preferred.
- Proficient in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills.
- Excellent interpersonal relations, communicative, and sales skills.
- A thorough understanding of the features and benefits of all Bank commercial products and services.
- A solid grasp of current banking regulations, procedures, and operations.
- Moderate proficiency with PC skills.
- Visual and auditory skills.
- A valid driver's license.
- A minimum of five (5) years' related experience is generally required.
