Commercial Lender

About the role

We are working with a well-respected Michigan-based bank that has a strong reputation in the communities it serves. As a multibillion-dollar organization, they have the size and resources to compete for larger commercial relationships while still maintaining a true community banking approach. The position is located in Northwest Michigan, close to Elk Rapids.

Responsibilities

This person will take over an established commercial portfolio and be responsible for growing it by developing existing relationships and cultivating new commercial business, with a strong focus on C&I lending and clients ranging from smaller businesses to those with approximately $100 million in annual revenue.

Requirements

• Ideally five or more years of experience in commercial lending and/or credit analysis; formal credit training is a plus.
